VERONA AND A HIKE IN CHIANTI

We started this trip from Vienna with our own car. Once arrived in Verona Christian met his friend Andrea for the first time in many years. After having spent a weekend in Verona we boarded a train to Florence where we started our hiking trip through the Chianti region, eventually ending up in Siena (due to a thunderstorm we took a bus for the last stage though). We slept in little cozy guest houses hosted by very gentle and friendly Italian people. We returned to Verona by train, spending another weekend with Andrea before making our way back home again in our car. Weatherwise we had nice days in Verona but caught a bad week in Toscana as unfortunately it rained a lot.
