Let's keep it simple. Eventhough it broke our hearts we decided not to travel in 2020 and also in 2021 due to the travel restrictions and uncertainties of chaotic measures. Real adventurers are not shaken up too long though. So we decided to get cozy in our very own holiday resort: Margit's apartment at her birthplace Ruprechtshofen (short: RPH) where we spent a week each month from April to December 2020. We jogged along and bathed in the Melk river, imbeded into the beautiful Melk valley, played tennis at the small UTC Leonhofen, hiked many trails in the Mostviertel and also Waldviertel and had relaxing days and evenings in Margit's beautiful garden (in her case tending to it passionately), reading books in sunny hammocks and having fine food, wine and beer! In November we even equipped the apartment with a cozy, litte home office. From November 2020 to May 2021 we also used RPH as our fitness headquarters since absurdly everything health related was closed as well. And so we kept using RPh as a vacation retreat even after the end of the pandemic.
