CHERISHING AN OLD(ENBURG) FRIENDSHIP

At the beginning of the summer holidays Margit decided to go on an long train ride to see her long time friend Olga in Oldenburg. Not everything went well with the Deutsche Bahn but eventually those few bad memories fade but all the good times are remembered forever. There were not particular events planned and so Margit and Olga just did what was best: Relax and enjoy and spend as much time together as possible. Olga's daughter Melina and husband Helge joined in as well whenever possible. They took extended walks, strolls and sometimes jogs along Schloßgarten, at Eversten Holz, to the harbor and through the center. They also entertained themselves with two field trips to Bad Zwischenahn and to the Isle of Norderney. Over the whole week they embraced the change from everyday life and especially cherished a weekfull of their already long lasting friendship, usually far away in miles but always close in hearts and spirits – this time in person for real though!
