Zschorlau, Saxony, Germany
Margit & Christian (and Carscht!)
For a quick winter vacation we decided to see our dear friend Carscht who himself payed his birth place Zschorlau a short visit around this time. It's a small place in the heart of the German ore mountains which is a beautiful area with lots of lovely villages built in their particular style, scattered in a hilly landscape and blessed with friendly locals speaking in their unique dialect we learned to appreciate a lot. We visited the space center Morgenröthe-Rautenkranz, an ore mine from the medieval ages and of course many lovely cafés and bars. To sum it up: we had a few very relaxing days in a beautiful part of Germany with Carscht and his family and friends. We had freezy weather but were indeed happy to receive such warm hospitality. Thanks to all of you!!!
