A SCOTTISH REUNION IN ZÜRICH

It had been a while but finally we managed to reunite – it took eight years for the three of us, Michael, Erik and Christan, to finally gather again under swiss skies . So we had a lot of catching up to do and as soon as Erik and Christian had arrived at Zürich's Central Station and checked in at Michael's and Nadja's beautiful home, all three of us dove right into Zürich head-on. And as beautiful and vibrant as ever we enjoyed every minute of this city once again: cycling audaciously through the city's rush hour as well as cruising up and down the surrounding hills from where we had terrific views over lake Zürich, relaxing (and drinking) in Michael's and Nadja's beautiful garden, seeing a Sister Sledge concert live (followed by an "age appropriate" dancing session right afterwards), joining a neighbourhood BBQ, getting around lake Zürich with our bikes and hiking to the top of the Pilatus mountain range near Luzern with its tremendous views over Vierwaldstätter Lake. To sum it up, it was a great trip, full of sportive activities, great food, a beer or two, the occassional bottle(s) of wine and some cocktails. But for the main part it was a fantastic celebration of an already long lasting friendship in each other's pleasant and relaxing company. So we all decided unanimous not to wait another eight years for our follow-up reunion!
